Compressor stations and valve sites, on a trend.

Compressor stations and the block-valve, pig-trap and metering sites along the line are visited on a schedule, and between visits a slow change is invisible. Waltero reads the pressure gauges, the sight glasses, the meter totals and the controller displays at a set interval, outside the unit's own control system, so line pressure and station condition are known between visits.

Compressor station

Suction, discharge and the cooler, on a trend.

A compressor station is checked on a schedule: suction and discharge pressure, oil pressure and level, cooler temperatures, the hour meter, the panel. Between visits, a slow change is invisible. Waltero reads the same gauges and panel displays at a set interval, outside the compressor's own control system, so the station's condition is a trend rather than a set of visits.

What we monitor

  • Suction and discharge pressure

The station's pressure gauges read in place, with alarms on drift and on a differential that leaves its normal range.

  • Lubricant and coolant levels

Vision AI reads the sight glasses on the oil and coolant systems, so a top-up is planned rather than discovered.

  • Cooler and cylinder temperatures

The existing thermometers and temperature displays read at a set interval.

  • Unit controller display

Hours, alarms and the figures on the compressor controller, read on every check without connecting to it.

  • Compressor and cooler fans

Run events, run duration and trends from a vibration fingerprint, with an alert on deviation from the normal pattern.

Estimates you can edit; minutes include getting there and writing it down. With Waltero the reading interval is a setting, and the log writes itself.

How it works

Back to the site map

Mount. Read. See.

A W-Sensor mounts on the meter, gauge or display you already have, reads it at the interval you set, and sends the number to Mimir. Nothing on the asset changes, and nothing needs wiring.

  1. 1. Mount

Fix a W-Sensor over the meter, gauge or display you already have. The adapter is hinged, so the meter stays readable and nothing on the asset is changed.

No hot work. No wiring. No downtime.
  2. 2. Read

At the interval you set, the sensor photographs the dial or display and reads the value on the device itself. Only the reading is transmitted, never a video stream; the image behind it is kept for audit.

Hourly by default; from every 15 minutes to once a day.
  3. 3. See

Readings land in Mimir, up to date as of the last interval, with trends, alarm thresholds, exports and an API that can feed your BMS or energy reporting.

One screen for every gauge, tank and panel across your sites.
